Who We Are:
GEORGE R. SIRACUSE, RFC,LUTCF
President, Strategic Financial Planners, Inc.
George is a Registered Financial Consultant,and has also earned the designation of Fellow from the Life Underwriter Training Council. He is the President and Founder of Strategic Financial Planners, Inc. George is also a full-time practicing Financial Planner and he is currently pursuing professional studies at the American College. He has been in the financial services industry since 1984 and has assisted individuals and businesses with their insurance, investments and financial planning needs since 1991. George is a fully licensed securities principal as well as insurance licensed. He is a Registered Principal and an Investment Advisor Representative of Centaurus Financial, Inc. He specializes in the financial planning needs of individuals, professionals and small business owners.
He is a current member of the International Association for Registered Financial Consultants, the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is also a Qualifying and Life Member of the Million-Dollar Round Table and has achieved Top of the Table status on numerous occasions..
George and his wife Loretta have been blessed with five children- George Steward, Christina, Michelle, Mary and Catherine. He is active in local church, school, charitable and community programs.
MICHELE L. POLANIS
Registered Assistant
Michele has been with the firm since 1998. She is securities registered and insurance licensed. Her main function with the firm is to act as client liaison, which involves tracking clients’ flow of business, answering questions regarding statements and paperwork and processing client requests. Michele is also responsible for updating and maintaining client files, coordinating all scheduling and office communications, as well as office bookkeeping.
Michele is involved with a number of community and school organizations. She is a lifelong resident of Pike County, where she resides with her husband Gary and their children.
DICK BESNIER, B.S., M.Ed,
President, Besnier Financial Group, Inc.
Dick is the President and Founder of the Besnier Financial Group, our affiliated firm in Williamsburg, Virginia. Dick had spent 30 years as a successful Coach and Athletic Administrator at the College of William & Mary and James Madison University, prior to entering the financial service industry. In fact, he was inducted into the College of William & Mary's Athletic Hall of Fame in 1992 and into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2004.
Dick is securities registered and insurance licensed. He is a Registered Representative of Centaurus Financial, Inc. He is often a speaker at local seminars on topics relating to senior issues and he is well regarded in the Williamsburg area.
Dick resides in Williamsburg, VA with his wife Shelley. He enjoys traveling, playing golf, sports and spending time with their grandchildren.
GARY W. BESNIER,
Vice President, Besnier Financial Group, Inc.
Gary is the Vice Pesident of the Besnier Financial Group, our Virginia affiliated company. He is also the son of Dick Besnier, the President and Founder of Besnier Financial Group. Gary is our Long Term Care Planning Specialists and has an extensive knowledge of issues that seniors face in today's economy and is extremely creative in presenting solutions to their needs. He is insurance licensed as well.
Gary has lived in the Williamsburg area for 40 years. He has spent 11 years in the financial services field, including two years in banking as a financial consultant. He has spent the last seven years working with the Besnier Financial Group and more recently with Strategic Financial Planners, Inc. Gary is married to his wife-Debbie and they have two children; Joe an Ben.
He is a sports enthusiast and a member of the Williamsburg Jaycees and the WIlliam and Mary Quarterback club.
